10 Must Visit American Celebrity Homes
Comments | Posted by Sam @ Jurnii in Attractions, Fun
You may never be able to own one of these over the top glitzy celebrity homes, but at least you can visit them. Or at least attempt to visit them before you’re stripped of your camera, dragged off by police and issued a restraining order.
Unless you want a celebrity going all Russell Crowe on you, we recommend keeping your distance; that is unless of course you can talk your way into an invitation from Ms. Spears or the Governator himself.
Without further delay, here’s our picks for the 10 Must Visit American Celebrity Homes
1. Jerry Seinfield
Certainly a step-up from his somewhat shabby apartment in “Seinfield”, Jerry’s Tudor-style waterfront manor offers an impressive 24 rooms, 13 of which are bathrooms. What’s the deal with that?
2. John Travolta
Contrary to what it looks like, John Travolta’s home is not an airport terminal, but merely a representation of his need for close-parking privileges.

3. Candy Spelling
Aaron Spelling’s passing may have left wife, Candy with an empty heart, but definitely not with an empty pocket. She is asking an impressive $150 million for the Holmby Hills mansion, making it the most expensive bit of property for sale in the United States.

4. Britney Spears
Unlike her career of recent years past, Britney’s $9 million home has maintained its class, elegance and charm. If only Ms. Spears could follow suit!

5. Oprah
It’s hard to imagine the Queen of TV with a rod in hand, baiting a hook, but for some reason the man-made lake on her forty-two acre property is stocked full of rare fish that are just waiting to be caught.

6. Eddie Murphy
King of Comedy, Eddie Murphy’s home is rumored to boast a bowling alley, indoor pool and tennis courts. It’s enough to make you go nutty.
7. Will Smith
Possibly the most absurd celebrity home of them all, Will Smith’s estate took over 7 years to build and is a reflection of his skyrocketing career and lifestyle. Complete with a basketball court and Jacuzzi, it’s truly a home fit enough for a prince.

8. Steven Spielberg
Steven Spielberg redefined the cinema going experience for a decade and his house does just this to the California landscape. At a gargantuan 56,000 square feet, it’s truly a lost world in itself.
9. Arnold Schwarzenegger
Arnie’s sprawling 6 acre estate is anything but “Junior”, boasting ocean-front views, expansive courtyards and even a place to keep animals. A home so beautiful, you’ll be back.

10. Madonna
Madonna’s Beverly Hills home joins a long list of properties accumulated world-wide over a career spanning more than 3 decades. No wonder they call her the “Material Girl”.
