1. Museum of New Hampshire History

If you are in search of a timeline of New Hampshire and Concord's history, look no further than this museum. This institution preserves the last two centuries of the state and tells the rich history of each past generation.

The museum educated a diverse public about the significance of New Hampshire's past and its relationship to our lives today. Housing over 29,000 objects and over 200,000 photographic images, this museum guarantees to give you an intriguing insight into tales of times gone by in Concord.

2. Longyear Museum - Mary Baker Eddy Historic House

This stately Greek Revival House was built in 1850 and depicts the life and times of Mary Baker Eddy. It incorporates a museum which houses some of the most interesting objects and artefacts that can be found in the state.

As you walk into the museum, you will be greeted with a large scale-model of the house and grounds at Pleasant View, which was Mrs. Eddy's next home. As you browse though the home you will come across traditional furnishings, which will give you some sort of idea of what life was like back in these times.

3. McAullife-Shepard Discovery Center

The McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center is where the sky is no limit; it is just the beginning. This discovery centre will educate and enthral you on everything there is to know about space and beyond.

Take part in programs such as the Super Stellar Fridays, Rocketeers and Spacetacular Saturday. The Planetarium shows are also worthwhile as they will take you on a journey through black holes, through the Dawn of the Space Age, a Digital Universe and into an Ice World.

This is a truly great destination for the kids and who knows, the adults may even learn a thing or two as well.
