1. Delaware History Museum

Located in a renovated art-deco Woolworth store, the Delaware History Museum houses some fascinating exhibits and collections that depict the history of Delaware and Wilmington to the highest degree.

The museum features three galleries of changing interactive exhibits that will excite and educate you. The unique displays of rare items of everyday life, costumes, children's toys, regional decorative arts and paintings, will take you on a journey of Delaware's history and entice to you to explore it even further.

2. Brandywine Zoo

If you are after an activity that the whole family can enjoy, why not have a look at the Brandywine Zoo. Located in the beautiful Brandywine Park, this zoo truly does have something for the entire family.

The zoo spans 13 landscaped acres and is home to around 150 animals. Animals from basically every species can be found here, from mammals and birds, to reptiles and amphibians. Come and see the exotic Siberian Tigers, playful river otters, bobcats, burrowing owls and the world's largest rodent, the capybara.
